The application starts by providing you the main screen, this screen has help information to indicate what each button function provides. However, the App is smart enough to know what the last view was that you had opened and if you close and re-open the app in a short period of time, it will return you to the view you last had open.
The main page provides shortcuts to enable you to get the information you need quickly:
Quick search Button
The quick search button (which is indicated by the parachute icon) is used to gather the 5 closest airport to your current location, when this button is tapped the App will take your current location and search a radius around you for the closest 5 Airports, once the app has found these airports it will replace the tips area with a map view of the region you are in and the 5 airports will be indicated by icons, the closest airport to you will be selected and its details will be entered into the Search Bar. Tapping any of the icons will make that Airport the currently selected Airport and fill the details of the Search Bar accordingly.
The Search Bar
The search bar provides a quick and easy means of getting the Airport you need, search by either the Airport Name, City in which the Airport serves or the Three Letter Airport designator (e.g. JFK for John F. Kennedy Airport in New York or LHR for London Heathrow Airport in London).
Once you have the Airport you need you can tap the bookmarks button in the search bar and it will be saved for easy retrieval later by tapping the "Bookmarks" button. There are over 5000 airports available to be searched for within the App.
At any time you wish to clear the search bar, simply tap the time on the right of the search bar and the text and hints will be reset. Once you start to enter data into the Search Bar, you will notice a translucent, scrollable table below the search bar with Airports that meet your search criteria, this table changes dynamically when you change the text in the Search Bar, tapping a table cell of an Airport will select that Airport and fill the Search bar with its details, it will also present a Map of the Airport below the buttons where the help tips were located.
BookMarks Button
If you have some favourite Airports and have chosen to bookmark them by tapping the "BookMark Icon" in the Search Bar, tapping the Bookmarks Button (indicated by a set of tickets on the right / top of the button set) will open a Bookmarks View, where you can choose, sort and delete your current bookmarks. Tapping a Bookmark within the Bookmarks view will dismiss the view, select the Airport in the Search Bar and show the Airport on the Map. Tapping the Edit Button in the Bookmarks View allows you to manually sort your bookmarks and remove them by tapping the delete buttons. You will be notified if you try to bookmark the same Airport again.
Date Button (Optional Upgrade)
The Date Button (indicated by a clock face below the Bookmarks button) will allow you to choose the date for your flight. By default the application allows for searching of flights for the current day, if however you wish to setup alerts or view flights for the previous day and / or 3 days in advance then tapping this button will present you with an Upgrade Option. A simple in-application process allows you to enable this feature without having to install another app or even close the existing session.
Departure and Arrival Buttons
Once you have the Airport you wish to select in the Search Bar or selected in the Map, simply press the Departures Button (indicated by an Aircraft taking off) or the Arrivals Button (indicated by an Aircraft landing), you will then be directed to the Airport Results View.
Search By Flight Number Button
The Search By Flight Number Button is a simple and quick way to access the Flight Search View, more on this view is described below.
Quick Tips for this View
Remember to Bookmark your favourite Airports, thus accessing them quickly without having to search for them.
Remember that tapping the time will reset the Search Bar.
Using the Closest Airports Button is a quick and easy way of getting hold of the Airports you most likely need.
Flight Number Search View
The Flight Search View provides you with the means to quickly access and gain information for a particular flight if you have the details ready to hand. This view also provides a means of saving your flight numbers for a particular day, choosing the date for your flight and gaining information about your flight ticket.
The Search Bar
Much like the Search Bar on the Main View, the Airline Search Bar will prompt you about the Airline you are searching for, simply start to type the name of the Airline you are travelling with and you will be presented with a dynamically changing table of the Airlines that meet your search criteria. Scrolling through and then tapping one of these Airlines will fill the Search Bar with your choice, you can then enter the Number for the Flight in the Flight Number Field. Tapping the Bookmarks Icon in the Search Bar will Save your current Flight Number for that particular day, remember to put a number into the Flight Number Field first, before tapping this icon.
Flight Number Field
This field is where you put the numbers from your flight into, when you tap the field you will be presented with the number keypad, enter only the numbers of your flight in here. Tapping the Bookmarks button now will save this flight number for the currently selected date.
Date Button (Optional Upgrade)
The Date Button (indicated by a clock face below the time) will allow you to choose the date for your flight number. Below the Flight Number Field you will see a bar with two icons, one with an Aircraft taking off and one with an Aircraft landing, if you want to see the information for your departure first then choose the departures button (on the left). If however you wish to see the Arrival Information first for your chosen Flight Number then choose the right hand button (Arrivals).
BookMarks Button
If you have a Flight Number you wish to access quickly and have chosen to bookmark it by tapping the "BookMark Icon" in the Search Bar, tapping the Bookmarks Button (indicated by a set of tickets below the Bookmark Icon) will open a Bookmarks View, where you can choose, sort and delete your current bookmarks. Simply enter your Amadeus Code and Last Name and you will be presented with information about your ticket, such as connections, times between connections, Ticket Purchase Information, E-Ticket Numbers, Baggage Restrictions, Aircraft Information, Time between Flights, Meals and Airline Office Information. The Flight Ticket Dialogue will remember your details so you can check again quickly later.
The Back Button
The Back Button is indicates by an icon with an arrow pointing to the left inside a circle. Tapping this button will return you to the Main View.
The Search Button
Once you have entered the Airline and Flight Number and have chosen the Optional Date for your flight and departure or Arrival button, tapping the Search Button (indicated by a Magnifying Glass Icon) will start the search for your flight, if your flight is found you will be presented with the Flight Information View, if however we cannot find your flight information you will be alerted by means of a popup. If this is the case, please check your details and try again.
Quick Tips for this View
Remember to save your flights to the Bookmarks View by tapping the Bookmark Icon in the Search Bar.
Remember that tapping the time to the right of the search bar will reset the Search Bar and Dynamic Airlines Table.
If you use the same flight frequently, save it in the bookmarks, then choose a past flight with the same flight number and change the date, then save it again to the Bookmarks and remove the flight that you have previously taken.
Airport Results View
This view is the main Airport arrival and Departures View, you can view all flights for a time period by scrolling through the table and viewing the status of your flight(s). This view also allows you to change the time period you wish to view, by default the current time period is selected. As with most views we have provided the time on the top right to enable you to see what the current time is. We show you the current time period selected (although some airports have so few flights that time periods are larger than others, so remember to scroll through a table to view your flights). You can check your ticket information here and also see what airport you are viewing for which date and even quickly change to Departures and Arrivals without having to go back to the Main View.
Quick Flight Information Table
The quick flight info table has been designed to give you clear and easily viewable information for your flights, with information on Airport Three Letter Code, Airport Name, Flight Number (and Code-sharing Number indicated by **), Scheduled Time of Departure or Arrival, Actual Time of Departure or Arrival, Airline, Aircraft, Quick Status of the Flight (delays are indicated giving you the exact delay in minutes) and Gate Number if provided by the Airline. Scrolling through the view will show all the flights for the current period. The App will even remember where you have scrolled to so that if you receive a call the app will return to the same view and the same position in the table where you last scrolled to. Selecting a flight by tapping the cell will open the Flight Detailed Information View for the Departure or Arrival, whichever is selected.
Time Search Period Button
Below the time is the Time Selection Button, tapping this will present you with a clock scroll, simply choose the time of your flight to the closest half hour period and tap Save and the Quick Flight Information Table will be updated for your chosen time period.
Time Period View
The Time Period Selected is shown below the Time Search Period Button. Some Airports have fewer flights than others and the view may bay taken up by many hours rather than the one hour choices available in the Time Search Periods.
The Back Button
The Back Button is indicates by an icon with an arrow pointing to the left inside a circle. Tapping this button will return you to the Main View.
Departures and Arrivals Buttons
Below the Quick Flight Information Table is the Departures and Arrivals Buttons, by simply tapping these buttons you can move between Departures for the time period and Arrivals for the time period, without having to return to the Main View.

Quick Tips for this View
Remember to use the Departures and Arrivals buttons below the Quick Flight Info Table to switch between arrivals and departures without having to return to the Main View.
Remember to choose the time period your flight comes within before scrolling through the table.
Tapping the Flight Tower Icon or the Cell itself will move you to the Detailed Flight Info View.
Detailed Flight Information View
This View provides you with all the information about your flight, if you are looking for Departures then the View is Blue, if your are looking for Arrivals then the View is Green, information is provided where available for:
Flight Number
Local Time at Departure Airport or Arrival Airport
Duration of Flight
Flight Status
Terminal
Aircraft
Airport
City
Scheduled Time
Estimated Time
Actual Time (for past flights)

Also provided is a Map of the Airport, access to a the Message Menu, Access to the Departures or Arrivals Detailed Flight Information View and a means to return to the Airport Results View or Flight Number Search View, whichever was last selected.
Departures or Arrivals Detailed Flight Information Button
Indicated by an Aircraft landing or taking off, tapping this button will flip between the Arrival and Departure information for your chosen flight.
Return to previous View Button
The Return Button (indicated by a Flight Tower Icon) will return you to the previous view wether it be the Flight Number Search View, Airport Results View or Main View if you have returned here after switching the App off while viewing the detailed information for a flight.
Flight Message Menu
The Flight Message Menu button (which is indicated by the Aircraft Captain Icon) will present you with the Message Menu, here you can choose two options.
Email Flight Information:
This choice will take all the departure and arrival information for the current flight and insert it into the Apple Mail App inside a new email, you may then choose who you want to receive this information by using the standard iPhone or iPod Touch Contacts List.
Be aware that using this function will close My Flight Info and Open the Mail app (however we will remember your last view so starting My Flight Info again within 5 minutes will return you to the last selected view and information).
Upgrade to Push Notification Flight Status Messages.
A simple in-application upgrade will allow you to access the the Flight Notifications Status View where you may choose up to 5 status messages per flight arrival and departure to be pushed to your iPhone or iPod Touch without having to have My Flight Info running. You must be connected to the Internet to receive these messages and they will provide you with your flight status, delays plus estimated and scheduled times. When you receive a flight status Push message you will be given the choice to View the Status, this will start the App and go to the Detailed Flight Information View for the chosen Flight. If the App is running when you receive a flight status message you can also choose to be shown the current flight status of the flight.
Quick Tips for this View
Remember you can flip between Flight Departure and Arrival Information.
If you have chosen to upgrade your Date Choices, you may also setup flight status push notifications 3 days in advance of your flight.
Flight Notification Status View
This view allows you to set when you wish to receive Push Flight Status Notifications, you may choose 30 Minutes, 1 Hour, Two Hours, Three Hours and Four Hours prior to your flights Arrival or Departure. The app will remember your previous settings for each flight and select the choices for you before the view is available. You cannot choose times for notifications that have passed and you must choose a notification at least 35 minutes prior to the flight departure or arrival.
